The cheelas can be made with both yellow and green moong dal filled with cottage cheese is rich in proteins and vitamins making it a healthy snack or meal for both adults and kids.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup grated or crumbled paneer(cottage cheese)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
1-2 green chili, chopped
1 teaspoon pavbhaji masala
salt to taste
1 1/2 cup moong dal(soaked for at least 4 hours)
2-3 cloves garlic
2 green chili
1/2 inch ginger
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
oil for roasting cheela
Instructions
1 - Put soaked moong dal , ginger, garlic 2 green chilies into mixer grinder, and grind into fine smooth paste.use some water to grind. keep pouring consistency batter.
2 - Add salt into the batter and mix well.
3 - Heat a pan and grease with little oil if using an iron pan, if using nonstick then not required.
4 - Take a ladleful of batter and pour into hot tawa, spread semi-thick cheela.keep the flame low
5 - Sprinkle paneer , tomatoes, onion all over the cheela .
6 - Sprinkle a little salt pav bhaji masala , coriander leaves.
7 - Drizzle some oil on the corners and let it cook until you see brown spots on the corner.
8 - Flip it over gently to let the other side cook by pressing gently.
9 - Transfer to serving plate and serve hot with coriander or tomato chutney
Tips
1 - Prefer using chilka moong dal or you can also use whole green dal to make this cheela healthier.
2 - You can also mix paneer, tomato, onion, salt, and pav bhaji masala, coriander leaves altogether, and then spread on cheela.
