Bread dahi vada is an easy to make Indian appetizer dish where the classic dahi vada is given a twist. The center of this style Dahi vada comes softly every time.
This instant Dahi vada recipe is nonfried, quick, and easy to make. soft melt in the mouth like shahi Dahi vada. This requires no pre-soaking and best is nonfried.
I am not that big fan of traditional dahi vada but this bread dahi vada is one of my all-time favorite quick snacks. I keep tamarind chutney prepared in my fridge to satisfy my craving for this recipe.

Ingredients
4 White bread
1 glass of water
2 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
2 tbsp hung curd with 1/2 tbsp sugar mixed
1/4 tbsp roasted cumin powder
black salt as per taste
pinch of chaat masala
1 tbsp finely chopped onion
1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Instructions
1 - Add water in a wide bowl
2 - Chop sides(brown part)of the bread slices using a knife.
3 - Dip bread slices into the water and then squeeze extra water gently and roll into a ball shape(like regular vada) using both the hands.do it for all the bread one by one and keep it into serving plate.
4 - Pour curd all over the vadas followed by tamarind chutney.
5 - Sprinkle chopped onion, cumin powder, black salt, chaat masala.
6 - Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve this super soft melt in mouth quick bread dahi vada.
Tips
1 - You can even use readymade Maggi pichkoo in place of tamarind chutney to make it super quick if don't have chutney available.
2 - Do not leave the bread in water for a long time , just dip into water and immediately squeeze the water else the bread will start breaking and then it will be difficult to make balls. It also depends upon the quality of bread you are using, some bread is super soft and some are bit rough so do it accordingly.
