some roasted cumin powder

some chili flakes
1 - Put soaked chickpeas, onion, garlic, green chili in a chopper or you can also grind them into a mixer grinder. Grind to a roughly coarse mixture. if using a mixer grinder, do not grind at high speed, use pulse mode, and grind for few seconds so the chickpeas get broken into small pieces.
2 - Add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, pepper powder, and coriander leaves and grind again until you get a sand-like texture.
3 - Transfer into a mixing bowl and add oil, besan, baking soda, and water and mix well. Add more water if required and prepare a dough kind of mixture. Leave it to rest for 10-15 minutes so all the spices get absorbed well.
4 - Take a baking dish and line it with baking paper. Grease the baking paper well with oil and transfer the falafel dough and flatten it using a spoon or spatula. keep the thickness like stuffed aloo paratha. You have spread the mixture the same way you spread mawa for barfi in a tray.
On Tawa - You can also make this bread on a pan or tawa if you do not have an oven to bake. You have to follow the same procedure until spreading the falafel dough on parchment paper and then put it on hot Tawa or pan .keep the parchment paper side up and after putting on Tawa remove the parchment paper and cook until its light brown from bottom. keep the flame low to medium .once cooked from the bottom, flip it over to cook from another side.
5 - Bake it for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 19 degrees.
6 - Once done remove it from the oven and let it cool completely then cut it into the desired size.
7 - Falafel bread is ready, it can be served as it is with tea or coffee and can be stored in a box for 2 days and in the fridge, it can be stored for 5-6 days. You can heat it before serving.
1 - Add boiled chickpeas, ginger, garlic, green chili in a mixer jar and grind it. for 1 minute.
2 - Next add tahini paste(Tahini paste recipe is given below if you can't find in the market), curd, oil, water, salt, lemon juice, chili flakes, and grind until you get a smooth paste.
3 - Check if salt is perfect and Hummus is ready.
4 - Transfer it into a serving bowl or plate.
1 - Take a falafel bread and put 1 tbsp of hummus or as you need on top of the bread and spread it a little all over the bread.
2 - Put chopped topping veggies 🌽 🌶 🥒 🍅 🥕 of your choice and sprinkle salt, cumin powder, and chili flakes.
3 - Falafel Bread with hummus is ready to be served.
Tahini Paste Recipe- If you do not find tahini paste in the market, do not worry, it's very easy to make at home. All you need is white sesame seeds.
Dry roast the sesame seeds on low flame until it starts changing its color, transfer it into a grinder jar and let it cool then grind it for 1-2 minutes until it releases its oil then add some cooking or olive oil and grind again to get a fine smooth paste and your homemade tahini paste is ready. You can even store this in the fridge for a month.
1 - I have used my favorite veggies for topping, you can use whatever you like. You can use cherry tomatoes 🍅 , olives, jalapeno, etc.
2 - I have made hummus for spread, you are free to add any spread of your choice,.you can even use cream cheese, hung curd or mayonnaise, or anything whatever you like. Explore this falafel bread beyond your imagination.
3 - If you don't like your hummus to be very thick, you can add more water to adjust the consistency of your choice.
