This is one of my favorite pasta salads. I love this so much. This pasta salad is so versatile that you can add whatever veggies you like. I would highly recommend this to try once. At least once a week, I have started eating salad for dinner. and keep trying different recipes and found this one super tasty so sharing it with you all. Hope you will like it too !! Corn Matar Chaat

Corn Matar Chaat is an interesting twist to the regular Chaat (or Salad) recipes which combines corn kernels with matar, Onions,  and other spiced with flavorful Indian spices. Looking for an interesting variation to the regular plate of butter-laden steamed sweet corn, here’s one.

This id a very quick recipe , it doesn't take more than 10 minutes.


If you have a guest at home and running out of idea what to cook  quickly then try this out and it's amazing in taste


and don't worry about ingredients it takes all the regular easily available ingredients all the time in kitchen.

PREP TIME:             2 MINUTES 
COOK TIME:10 MINUTES
TOTAL TIME: 12 MINUTES 
SERVINGS:    2

Ingredients


1 finely chopped onion
1 inch chopped ginger
2 chopped green chili
1 tbsp oil
2 teaspoon cumin seeds
salt to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 tbsp chili flakes
1 cup of corn
1 cup  green peas
1/2 tbsp chaat masala
1/2 tbsp butter (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice


Instruction

1-Heat oil in a pan, once oil is heat, add cumin seeds, sizzle it well. next, add chopped ginger and green chili

2 - Stir for 10-15 seconds then add chopped onion. cook it for 1 minute.
3 - After a minute, add salt, black pepper powder, chili flakes.cook all the spices for 1 minute. keep the flame medium.

4 - Next add corn and peas.stir fry for 5 minutes.

5 - Add little water if spices are sticking on the surface.

6 - Next add butter and chaat masala sugar and coriander leaves.

7 - Give it a good mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes and check if corn and matar are cooked well .turn off the flame.
8 - Transfer into serving plate and add little lemon juice.


Note...

1-I have used frozen corn and peas.if you are using fresh one then boil it before cooking.
